Ban on poultry lifted

The European Union lifted restrictions on the import of birds from many regions of Ukraine.

Exports from Ukraine to the European Union resumed after the ban due to bird flu.

About it informs the state service of Ukraine on issues of food safety and consumer protection.

In February in Ukraine there were no recorded instances of bird flu, so the ban on the import of decided to eliminate.

Total in Ukraine from November 2016 were 9 cases of bird flu, the last case was registered on February 15, 2017
