Acting Director General of NTKU Alexander Harbin assured that Eurovision-2017 will be held in Ukraine. About this he wrote on his page in Facebook.
“It was clearly stated: the state Ukraine will cope, and Eurovision will be held in Ukraine, in Kiev! Don’t even say that, even without any if and but, do not make assumptions about other opportunities – Eurovision will be held in Ukraine and will pass at a high level!” – wrote Harbin.
As reported, the Deputy Chairman of the KCSA Oleksiy Reznikov said that is common in some media information about the fact that Kiev can take away the right to host the Eurovision song contest, is not true.
Separately, the Deputy head of the KSCA noted that the media published the statements of the acting General Director of NTKU Alexander Jarabina in a distorted form. “Mr. Harabin clearly told reporters: the state Ukraine will cope, and Eurovision will be held in Ukraine, in Kiev!” – said Reznikov.
Earlier, the “TCH” with reference to Jarabina reported that Ukraine may lose the Eurovision song contest-2017 due to the delay with the organization.
