In October, the population has paid 3.65 billion hryvnia, which was less than 60% of the assessed for that month amounts.

The debt of Ukraine’s population for housing and communal services in October 2016 has increased by UAH 4.2 billion compared to September and amounted to 16,73 billion. From this sum more than 6 billion is the debt for heating and hot water, according to the State statistics service.

According to the Agency, in General, in October the Ukrainians paid for housing and utility services 3.65 bn UAH, which accounted for only 56.9% of accrued during the month amount.

The highest payment level in October was recorded in Volyn (152,9% with account of repayment of debts of previous periods), Vinnytsia (106,9%) and Mykolaiv (101,6%) and the lowest in Ivano-Frankivsk (25,2%), Kherson (27,2%) and Sumy (30,4%) regions.

The average charge for communal in the country on a one owner account consumption of electricity (150 kWh) in October 2016 has increased by 325 hryvnia compared with the September – to 851,2 of the hryvnia.

For ten months of 2016 with a population of concluded 30.7 thousand contracts on repayment of the restructured debt for housing and utility services for a total amount of 140,2 million, of which Ukrainians have already paid more than 83 million.

As reported Корреспондент.netthe government of Ukraine, headed by Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman with Nov has launched a 12-month installment plan for payment of housing and communal services. This installment can use those Ukrainians who are not eligible for the subsidy, and those who are subsidy issue does not want.
