The European broadcasting Union (EBU) plans to consider a petition demanding revision of results of “Eurovision-2016”, according to “RIA Novosti” with reference to press Secretary of the EBU Sex Jordan.

“We are aware of the petition, the issue will be discussed today, and the EBU response will be published later,” said Jordan.

At the same time the press-Secretary of the EBU noted that, in his opinion, a revision of the results unlikely.

As reported, the Internet started to collect signatures for a recount of the results of the song contest “Eurovision 2016”. Now a petition signed by more than 200 thousand people.

Note, the petition posted on the website Change.org and has no legal force.

Recall that the Ukrainian singer Jamal took first place in the final of “Eurovision 2016”. In second place – the representative of Australia demi Them, and the third – Russian singer Sergey Lazarev.
