Ivan Grigorevich Grigorovich-Barsky (1713, Kiev – 1791, Kiev), architect

Rheingold Maricevic the glière (1875, Kyiv — 1956, Moscow), composer

Maximilian Alexandrovich Voloshin (1877 , Kiev – 1932, Koktebel), poet, artist, translator

Kazimir Severinovich Malevich. (1878 or 1879, Kiev – 1935, Leningrad), painter

Vladimir Samoylovich Horowitz, (1903, Kiev – 1989, new York, USA), pianist.

“King of kings of pianism”. Born at Timofeevskaya street (now of Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky), studied at the gymnasium in the current 135-th Kyiv school. In 1913 he became a pupil of W. Puchalski. Serge Lifar (Sergey Lifar 1905, Kiev – 1986 Lausanne), ballet dancer, ballet master

Today the name of Serge Lifar is the Kiev municipal Ukrainian Academy of dance. Boris Paton (1918, Kiev), scientist, engineer

Leonid Sergeyevich Bronevoy (1928, Kiev), actor
