The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said about the negotiations with 20 countries on full or partial liberalisation visa facilitation for Ukrainians.

Ukraine is in talks with 20 countries on full or partial liberalisation visa facilitation for Ukrainians. This was told by foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin today, January 22, at a press conference, UKRINFORM reported.

“Now we are in such negotiations or full liberalization or visa facilitation with 20 countries. I hope in the next two years with them to achieve decisive progress,” he said.

At the same time, the official said that now the citizens of Ukraine, who hold biometric passports, without visas, can cross border in 85 countries.

The foreign Minister also announced the launch of full operation of the system of E-visa”at the end of March this year.

“We’re just a few days ago registered in Ministry of justice order concerning the establishment of a system of Electronic visa. It has already passed the first test. Now it is 4-5 weeks going to be tested fully and we hope that somewhere at the end of March it would begin work”, – said Klimkin.

In addition, he informed that the tested software, the Consul, who now actually works for nine foreign institutions, and expressed the hope that before the end of the year she will start working in full volume.

Recall that Japan has simplified visa requirements for short stays of Ukrainian citizens from 1 January 2018.
