The problem of counter-sabotage in ammunition storage facilities can be solved by placing them in buried concrete vaults. This was stated by the commander of Land forces of Armed forces of Ukraine Serhiy Popko Facebook.

“Analysis of the causes of explosions at the arsenals of the Ukrainian Armed forces testifies to the continuation of armed aggression against Ukraine… the Enemy does not leave attempts to “bleed” our army, to leave us without necessary to deter aggression, resources, including ammunition,” he said.

“Sabotage on 6-m the Arsenal of the Armed forces of Ukraine (Chernihiv region, near the city Ichnia) showed that the measures were taken after the previous sabotage, not enough,” said Popko.

According to the commander of Land forces, “implementation of the full range of activities that are guaranteed to provide reliable storage and security of arsenals, bases, warehouses, requires intensive system activities for a long time.”

“Today the problem of counter-sabotage in ammunition storage facilities can be solved by placing them in buried concrete vaults arch type that will prevent most of the possible methods of sabotage”, he said.

“Implement this approach in the Land forces of the Armed forces of Ukraine, starting with the storage of jet ammunition of all types,” said Popko.

We will note, yesterday the President Petro Poroshenko said that in the next three years, Ukraine will build 136 storage for ammunition.
