The American company Boeing announced a complete software update of the 737 MAX. This is stated in the message on the website of the company.

“Boeing has successfully completed the development of updated software for the 737 max, after testing on the simulator and flight test engineering. At the moment, company employees logged more than 360 hours and made 207 flights on a 737 max with updated software MCAS”, – stated in the message.

The company also reported that additional information has already been sent to the Federal office of civil aviation USA with a full report on the results of the research. As soon as the request will be considered, the company promises to cooperate with the administration for setting the date of the test flight and the submission of the complete documentation for certification flights.

“Safety is our clear priority, so we spent all engineering test flights for the software update and prepare for final certification of the flight,” said CEO, President and Executive Director Dennis Muilenburg.

According to him, Boeing is confident that with updated software 737 max will be “one of the safest aircraft in the world.”

“The disaster that happened only strengthened our commitment to the values of safety, quality and integrity because we know that our work depends life,” he concluded.
