Embassy of Ukraine in great Britain demanded from the editor to correct the error and change the map.

In the UK newspaper the Times published a map on which the Crimean Peninsula marked by the same color as that of Russia. This was reported by the Ukrainian Embassy in the UK.

It is noted that the map was accompanied by an editorial on the 2018 world Cup.

“The Embassy draws the attention of The Times to the fact that it is unacceptable to indicate on this map the Crimea, which was illegally annexed by Russia in 2014. We demand to change the map. Crimea is Ukraine”, – stated in the message.

Map of Russia with Crimea appearing in the printed edition number of 9 June, which featured an article with locations of the world championship on football-2018.

Earlier in Chernivtsi on one card depicted two of the Crimea. Both Ukrainian.
