Restrictions on withdrawal of deposits, operations on currency exchange, trips abroad for Ukrainian citizens will not.

President Petro Poroshenko has urged Ukrainians “not to run to the store and buy matches and salt“. He said this in interview to Ukrainian TV channels, commenting on the introduction of martial law.

“No need to run to the store and buy matches and salt. No restrictions on withdrawal of deposits, operations on currency exchange, trips abroad for Ukrainian citizens will not” – said Poroshenko.

At the same the head of state stressed that the Russian citizens, such restrictions will be introduced. “And I think it is quite justified”, – the President added.

Earlier, Poroshenko promised not to renew the martial law imposed in the country until December 26.
