The governments of Canada and Sweden has allocated $2 million for the restoration of Donbass. About it reports a press-service of the Ministry of the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons (Minot) on Tuesday, March 13.

“Under the Trust Fund’s many partners allocated the first $2 million for the restoration and development of peace in the Donbass. Funds provided by the governments of Canada and Sweden and will be administered by the world Bank in accordance with the priorities defined in the State program for Restoration and development of the world in the Eastern regions of Ukraine”, – stated in the message.

It is noted that the Trust Fund manages the funds of the international donor community, which are used to support the restoration and development of peace in the Donbass.

All grants will be used to Finance priority projects in the implementation of the state target program of Restoration and development of the world in the Eastern regions of Ukraine, as well as integration Strategies for internally displaced persons and the introduction of durable solutions on internal displacement for the period up to 2020.

Previously, Canada has allocated $7.5 million in financial aid for Donbass. The money will be sent to the victims of the conflict in Eastern Ukraine.
