Interpol a file is locked by the former Minister of defence Mikhail Ezhel. It is reported by “Ukrainian news”, citing a source.

“Card if blocked by the Commission for control over files Interpol”, – he said.

According to him, the card locking Interpol or even the denial of the wanted list through Interpol does not mean loss of the ability to ensure the international investigation to other channels.

We will remind, the General prosecutors office of Ukraine (PGO) will conduct correspondence investigation against ex-Minister of defence Mikhail Ezhel in connection with his failure to appear for questioning.

We will remind, the former defence Minister is suspected that, abusing official position, deliberately, in the interests of third parties in the course of 2011-2012, has issued four separate orders for which the payment of municipal services consumed by business entities was carried out at the expense of budget funds without compensation (business entities were involved in providing catering services in the Armed forces of Ukraine). These actions caused material damage to the state totaling about 43 million UAH, than the caused heavy consequences.

Yezhel from March 2010 to February 2012 he was Minister of defense of Ukraine. After Ezhel held a post of the adviser of the President of Ukraine, and in 2013 was appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus. In may 2015, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko fired Yezhel from the post of Ambassador to Belarus.
