The Chinese President also said that Beijing intends to grant Africa an additional 1 billion yuan (about 146 million dollars) as financial assistance to the agriculture development on the continent. In addition, in Africa, will be sent to 500 highly skilled Chinese professionals in the field of agriculture for the development of the agricultural sector.

In the two-day forum in Beijing involving the leaders of many African States. Speaking a few hours before beginning his work at a meeting with leading African politicians and businessmen, XI emphasized that the Chinese investment in Africa is not linked to any political conditions and obligations.
