Noor Capital announced the purchase of three tons of gold from the Central Bank of Venezuela. The transaction took place on January 21.

Noor Capital of the United Arab Emirates said on Friday, February 1 that it had acquired last week, three tons of gold from the Central Bank of Venezuela. This is stated in a press release the company posted on Twitter.

“Noor Capital does not participate in any illegal or prohibited transactions. 21 January 2019 Noor Capital purchased approximately three tons of gold from the Central Bank of Venezuela in accordance with international standards and applicable local laws. Subsequent transactions was not”, − reads the statement.

The company also noted that it would be to refrain from transactions with Venezuela as long as the situation in the Republic is not stabiliziruemost.

Earlier it was reported that the Central Bank of Venezuela expects to soon sell about 15 tons of gold the United Arab Emirates.
