Consumer sentiment has improved significantly

The mood affected the growth of pensions, scholarships and the minimum wage.

In October 2017 consumer moods of Ukrainians has improved by 3.6 points compared to the September figure – to 62.6. This is evidenced by research company GfK Ukraine published on its website.

As noted, in annual terms, this indicator increased by 11 points.

“Positive changes in the attitudes of Ukrainians are the result of the growth of pensions in October this year and the expectations of the planned increase of grants in November and the minimum wage early next year”, – stated in the message.

In GfK Ukraine found that the Ukrainians were somewhat better assess their financial situation. The current conditions index rose by 5 points to the September level and $ 60, whereas a year ago he was 50.4.

Improved economic expectations of Ukrainians. The respective index for the month rose by 2.8 points to 64.4 per.

In respect of unemployment, the Ukrainians are also optimistic. The index of unemployment expectations fell month-on-month ratio by 2.6 points and amounted to 128,3.

In addition, there has been a slight decline in devaluation expectations by 0.4 points to a value of 156.6 in. However, inflationary expectations in Ukraine grew slightly by 0.6 points to 185,8.

We will remind, in September 2017 consumer moods of Ukrainians improved by 0.4 points compared to August to 59 (on a scale from 0 to 200), while in annual terms, the consumer sentiment index rose 8.9 points.
