Corruption fighters took over the “Wall” Yatsenyuk

For two years on the project “the Wall” spent UAH 600 million.

Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office (SAP) has opened a criminal case concerning corruption in the implementation of the project “the Wall” on the Ukrainian-Russian border. This was announced by the Minister Nazar Golodnitsky, reports 112 Ukraina.

“The criminal proceedings. Just last week we with Artem Sytnik (Director NABOO. - ed.) heard on this case detectives and judicial leaders. The Prosecutor’s office gave instructions in this production, which is now being implemented. But again, you need to go to the event place, it is necessary to look, to describe, to explore. The production is, it is being investigated,” said Holodnitsky.

We will remind, the project “the Wall” on the border with Russia in 2014, suggested the former Prime Minister-the Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, in June of the same year, the Cabinet approved the project.

In 2016, for implementation of the project Wall provided 200 million USD, of which 60 million has already been received. Additionally, in 2015, the construction of the “Wall” has been allocated 400 million, which was disbursed in full.

The project is now partially implemented only in Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions. To build facilities on the border with Russia in the Sumy and Luhansk regions plan this year and continue into 2017.
