The Minister said that depends on the progress in the negotiations with the IMF.

Ukraine plans next year to issue Eurobonds for $ 2 billion. This was stated by the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Alexander danyluk in an interview with Reuters.

The Finance Minister reminded that Ukraine has placed its first issue of Eurobonds worth $3 billion. Danyluk said that the agreement with the IMF provide that in the following year, Kiev can take on the market $2 billion. Also, according to him, Ukraine hopes early next year to receive the next tranche under the $17,5-billion International monetary Fund programme.

“We will not rush on the market, but we have a good story to tell investors,” he said, and added that borrowing will go to pay the debts, and the IMF money will be spent on increasing the foreign exchange reserves of Ukraine.

Danyluk said that the progress in the negotiations with the IMF depends on creating an anti-corruption court and reach agreements on gas prices. “At the moment we do have some problems. They will be solved. As for the money, I think it will be early next year,” the Minister added.

Recall President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine placed Eurobonds for three billion dollars under 7,375% per annum with 15 years maturity.
