Ukraine will seek all possible ways of compensation of losses incurred by the state due to the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation, including through the establishment of the financial investigation Service. About it during communication with journalists was declared by the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Alexander danyluk, reports channel “112 Ukraine”.

“The government is now actively working on this. Any damages should be compensated, it is our duty. We will use all the necessary tools, again going back to the financial investigation Service. One of the objectives of this Service will be effective investigation of crimes in the banking sphere”, - he said.

As reported, the international court of arbitration in the Hague acknowledged that the Russian Federation should bear obligations to protect Ukrainian investors in Crimea after its annexation in accordance with bilateral Russian-Ukrainian agreement on investment protection.

Earlier, the court reported that it had adopted an intermediate solution which deals with certain questions of jurisdiction and admissibility, on claims of “PrivatBank” and its former owner Igor Kolomoisky against Russia in connection with the annexation of Crimea.

The Hague arbitration considers a number of similar claims from companies related to the former shareholders of the “PrivatBank”, including “Ukrnafta” and “Stabiae,” lost in the Crimea, the oil business, and former Chairman of the Board of PrivatBank Alexander Dubilet and 18 companies in Crimea lost assets in real estate. All of these cases also reached the stage of the hearing on jurisdiction, but decisions not yet taken.
