Our country at the continental championship will represent the ten athletes.

Head coach women’s national team of Ukraine Sergey Gordienko, announced the squad for the European championship in Boxing, which is just a few days will start in the capital of Bulgaria.

The announcement of the membership was held in the framework of the open training of the team on the eve of departure of the national team of Ukraine in Sofia. Recall, the main Boxing the start of the European women will be held from 4 to 13 June.

“I am convinced that our girls forces to compete at the continental championship in Bulgaria. Women’s team of Ukraine regularly shows good results, so I hope that this year we will return from Sofia with awards.

For the coaching team of the European championship in Bulgaria will be a great opportunity to see our girls in action against the strongest representatives of the Continent. We are looking forward to the world Championships to be held in India in November this year, so it is crucial that girls got a proper combat practice to provide the necessary information for the analysis of the coaching staff. I, in turn, are also planning to visit Sofia and to support our team on the path to victory”, – said the President of Federation of Boxing of Ukraine Vladimir Prodivus.

According to the chief coach of the national team of Ukraine Sergey Gordienko, Ukraine will be represented in all ten weight categories. So, our team at the European Championship 2018 will be represented by:

Weight category 48 kg: Anna Hunt (Poltava region)
Weight category up to 51 kg: Tatyana Kob (Volyn region)
Weight category up to 54 kg: Ivanna Krupenia (Rovno region)
Weight category 57 kg: Kholodkova Snizhana (Kiev)
Weight category 60 kg: Julia Tsyplakova (Kharkiv oblast)/
Weight category 64 kg: Maria Bova (Kiev)
Weight category of 69 kg: Julia Stojko (Kiev)
Weight category 75 kg: Maria boruta (Khmelnytskyi region)
Weight category 81 kg: Anastasia Cornellana (Dnipropetrovsk region).
Weight category +81 kg: Tatiana Shevchenko (Kyiv)

“In preparation for the European Championship we did a lot of work, which, I believe, will help to represent our country in Bulgaria. I guarantee that our girls will do everything you need for this. The European championship is very important for us start in which we revise our girls in fights with the best boxers of the continent.
