Deputy Prime Minister says that pensioners no reason to worry

Rozenko has assured that pensioners will receive in full and in a timely manner all payments.

In the Pension Fund of Ukraine there will be no disaster. This was stated by Vice-Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko on air of TV channel 112 Ukraine on Tuesday, 24 may.

“Certainly, the financial situation of the Pension Fund is not easy, but I convinced them and I assure you that no disaster in the Pension Fund will not” – he said.

Rozenko also assured that the pensions will be timely and in full, and therefore “the pensioners have nothing to worry about.”

“The necessary funds for this purpose in the state budget there are, moreover, have the means and increasing the minimum pension from may, and funds to increase minimum pensions, which will take place from 1 December 2016”, – said Rozenko.

In turn, the Pension Fund head Oleksiy Zarudny said that the office was no delay in the implementation of payments to the population.

“Today the Pension Fund on time and in full, makes all required payments to pensioners. We have no delays or failures with implementation of these payments, and tomorrow we are completing the financing of pensions may,” he said in the air of 112 Ukraine.

According to him, the increase in the deficit of the Fund is associated with a decrease in the rate of the unified social contribution, which is the main source of funds.

“This year, a significant resource is allocated from the state budget to the budget of the Pension Fund is almost 145 billion hryvnias, and from these funds to cover the budget deficit of the Pension Fund directed more than 80 billion hryvnia. The budget deficit increased in comparison with the previous year and primarily due to the fact that this year nearly halved the rate of single social contribution, which is the main source of income in Retirement Fund. Therefore, the corresponding losses of the Pension Fund are compensated from the state budget”, – explained Zarudny.

Earlier, the Minister of social policy Andrei Reva said that Ukraine is heading for disaster with the pension payments because of the deficit of the Pension Fund.
