Dolgopolov will not play in Australian Open

The former first racket of Ukraine withdrew from the tournament in Melbourne.

The former leader of Ukrainian men’s tennis Alexander Dolgopolov will not play in the Open championship of Australia.

According to the official account of the Australian Open on Twitter, Dolgopolov will not play in Melbourne because of a right wrist injury. Alexander was declared the tournament a “protected” rating, but in the end postponed their comeback.

Note that in early December, the tennis player had surgery on the foot and added that the restoration will take place within four to five weeks.

Dolgopolov does not go to court in may 2018, when played at the Masters in Rome.
