Pension reform will require employers to hire people aged 45 years. Recruitment will occur through a quota system, said the Minister of social policy Andrei Reva, reports TSN.

According to the Minister, bill No. 6614 provides that 4% of employees in any workforce should be people from 45 years and older.

“This quota principle. We will enter, and will follow through our public service labour that this rule is respected,” said Reva.

Recall, 3 October, Parliament adopted a pension reform, which envisages the modernization of pensions since October, and raising the minimum insurance period for retirement from 15 to 25 years from 1 January 2018. Three days later, President Petro Poroshenko has signed this law.

The law on increase of pensions, the launching of the so-called pension reform entered into force on 11 October.
