In addition to security topics, the MEPs paid attention to humanitarian issues.

First Vice-speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Iryna Gerashchenko said on Facebook that the members of the European Parliament visited the plant and control point of entry/exit Maori in the Donbas.

It is noted that the composition of the group included MEPs Petrus, Austrevicius and Anna Fotyga, along with ambassadors of Slovenia in Ukraine Natasha Prah, Croatia – Tomislav Vidosevic, Portugal and Maria Cristina de Almeida.

“Our brave European friends visited the plant, they were the first Europeans whose eyes saw the ruined candy bar, talked with the guys from legendary 72th brigade. According to Gerashchenko, in addition to security topics, the European colleagues have paid attention to humanitarian issues, having visited the KPVV Maori, where they talked with residents of the occupied territories.
