ЕС продлит санкции против Крыма - СМИ

European sanctions against the Crimea will expire in June.

EU sanctions against the Crimea, which expires in June, will be extended, although the formal decision is still pending, said a senior representative of the EU, reports RIA Novosti.

“On Monday this issue will not be discussed. But on Crimea, the European position is clear. Although there is a formal decision point, the situation in the Crimea has not changed, the sovereignty of Ukraine over Crimea has not been restored… the sanctions should remain in force. The decision is still pending, but all the statements of the member countries follow in the same direction”, – said the representative of the EU.

We will note, the head of EU diplomacy Federica Mogherini expects European sanctions against Russia will be extended.
