Only the Association Agreement with the European Union Ukraine should fulfill obligations 44.

Ukraine has fully implemented only 8 of the 44 obligations under the Association Agreement with the European Union. This is stated in the results of the study of the Ukrainian center of European politics.

According to the document, only Ukraine is obliged to implement about 350 European acts until 2025. A further 28 commitments are in the process of adaptation, and the eight – adaptation do not occur.

The center said that according to the commitments, Ukraine for the period from July 1, 2016 November 1, 2016 was to adapt 44 of EU legislation in the fields of energy, environment, public health, social policy and activities of companies, taxation and public procurement.

“The most successful areas has been public procurement and energy, where systematic work is carried out on the approximation of Ukrainian legislation to EU legislation. In other areas of work to implement European obligations are in various stages of implementation, from legislation regulating the levying of excise duty, where full implementation of the EU requirements is left to make several technical corrections to the regulation of the environment in which adaptation occurs very slowly”, – is spoken in the message center.

Earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine has managed to avoid new negotiations on ratification of the Association Agreement with the EU, with uncertain interim term, and of any change in the text of this document.
