Каждый работающий украинец уже должен МВФ $650 - экс-глава НБУ

Ukraine more vsez in the world depends on IMF

Ukraine became the most dependent on the IMF money country in the world, said Arbuzov.

Dynamics of growth of Ukraine’s debt to the IMF in 2014-15 and stands in stark contrast to the global trend, says the former head of the NBU Sergey Arbuzov.

According to him, the portfolio of the IMF in General, from 2013 to 2015 decreased by 36% to SDR 57 billion, and debt of Ukraine more than doubled to SDR 7.7 billion ($10.7 billion).

“And given the drop in GDP, the share of debt to the Fund / GDP ratio increased fourfold, from 3% in 2013 to 12% in 2015. As a result, at the end of last year working on each of 16 million Ukrainians had a debt of $653,” leads such data on his page in Facebook Watermelons.

“Most post-Soviet countries does not have debts to the IMF. And Ukraine has become most dependent on the IMF money country in the world. Last year she went to all the ratio of debt to 12% of GDP,” he said.

Arbuzov also said that authorities will be able to attract another $5.7 billion Fund by the end of the current year the debt of the country to the IMF will rise to 20% of GDP, which will record decades among relatively developed countries. “Every Ukrainian will have the Fund of $1,000,” predicts Serhiy Arbuzov.

At the same time, he recognizes that without the IMF, Ukraine can not: there is no private investment and official financing of the EU, USA and other countries is clearly linked to the program with the Fund.

Earlier in the Cabinet of Ministers said that Ukraine hopes to complete negotiations on the revision of the Memorandum with the IMF and to receive a tranche of 1.7 billion dollars by the end of June.
