Facebook changes the rules of advertising

Changes should enter into force before the elections to the Congress of the United States.

The administration of the company Facebook is preparing changes to the regulations until after the midterm elections in the U.S. Congress, scheduled for November 2018. On Thursday, October 12, was declared by the Director of social network development Mike Cropper.

“We are actively working on all of these things, the company pays great attention to make it all better,” he said.

He noted that to implement the change quite difficult, because Facebook is a large social network: 2 billion users and 5 million advertisers. In this regard, the company does not want to get rid of legal advertising.

“We are actively investing in technical solutions, because they work in unprecedented conditions,” he added.

Recall, Facebook will hire more than 1,000 people to check the ads that are published in this social network.

As reported in the beginning of the war with Ukraine, the Russian government has actively used Facebook for political propaganda.
