New employees will check the contents and target audience of the ads.

Company Facebook will hire more than 1,000 people to check the ads that are published in this social network. This is stated in the company statement published on Monday, October 2.

Now when considering Facebook ads, the staff will consider not only the content of advertising, but “the context in which it was bought, and the target audience”. This is one of the measures taken by the social network after the detection of political ads, through which the government allegedly tried to interfere in the election of the President of the United States.

Also, Facebook promises that its users can see not only who posted a particular ad but what other ads were paid for by the profile of each advertiser. Advertisers who want to place ads regarding elections in the United States have before buying advertising to provide data about the organization they represent.

Earlier it was reported that Facebook would provide the Congress of the USA Russia 3000 paid ads.
