Sergei Polunin said that he is happy to accept the position against the “evil and dishonest people” who “create revolution and war in Ukraine, Georgia.”

Ukrainian dancer Sergei Polunin has been granted Russian citizenship. Photos of the new passport it on Friday, November 30, published on his page in Instagram.

In the caption to the photo Polunin also expressed support for Russian President Vladimir Putin and spoke out against the “evil people who create war and revolution in Ukraine and Georgia.”

“Russia for me have always been good and I am very happy to become a Russian citizen and take a stand against evil and unscrupulous people who create wars and revolutions in Ukraine, Georgia and many other countries,” wrote Polunin.

“My support of Vladimir Putin, who has not sold his country and supports its people. I can’t imagine how hard he worked and how hard it was for him. You are different than many leaders, it is true for you,” said the dancer.

Sergei Polunin born November 20 1989 in Kherson. At the age of 13 moved to London, where he studied at the Royal ballet School. From 2007 to 2012, Polunin was invited by the Prime Minister of the Royal ballet in London.
