Filatov called for a Eurovision song contest in Dnepropetrovsk

Филатов призывает провести Евровидение в Днепропетровске

The mayor of Dnipropetrovsk Boris Filatov said that his city should take the Eurovision song contest in 2017 and promises tomorrow to submit a proposal to the Prime Minister Boris Filatov. About this he wrote in Facebook.

He cites the following arguments:

“The Russian-speaking city, stop the “Russian world”. “Southern capital” of the Russian Empire, zabolotivca in the coffin of the “new Russia”. The heart of Cossack country. A city with a Jewish soul. A new home for 76 thousand immigrants from Ukrainian Donbass. The birthplace of the volunteer movement. A unified command of local, regional councils and regional state administration. The strongest and largest ethnic communities. Developed infrastructure”, – says the mayor of Dnepropetrovsk.

We will note, earlier the government of Kherson, Odessa and Kiev also declared readiness to host the Eurovision song contest.

We will remind, the representative from Ukraine Jamal took first place in finalaverage-2016, the second place took the singer demi Im from Australia. Third place was awarded to Russian singer Sergey Lazarev. The Russians gave up 10 points in the Eurovision song contest representative from Ukraine Jamal. This is evidenced by the results of the vote. In turn, the Ukrainians gave to the representative of Russia Sergey Lazarev 12 points.
