Ready for the winter season, more than half of the dwelling stock objects

The utility continue preparation for winter of objects of social sphere.

The Ukrainian housing and communal services have prepared for the heating season a little more than half of the housing stock. This was announced by Deputy Minister of regional development, construction and housing Edward the Logs during the selector meeting with the regions, says UNIAN.

“Ready for the heating season 82 603 of the house, and that 51,1% of the plan. Of objects of social sphere are ready 18 563 objects, and it is 50.8 per cent,” quoted Logs press service.

According to him, in General for the winter need to prepare 161 706 houses and 36 thousand objects of social sphere including kindergartens, hospitals, schools.

The press service also noted that at the moment, ready for winter 53% boiler (boiler 11 142), 10 873 km of heat networks, heat 2 993 points, 52% sewage networks, more than 50% of the pumping stations.

And the Minister of regional development, construction, housing and utilities Hennadiy Zubko announced the other figures, according to the website of the Ministry.

“The average rate of readiness of objects of housing and communal services and social sphere in Ukraine for the heating season exceeds 90%. By October 1 of the housing and communal services of Ukraine should be fully prepared for the winter period”, - said Zubko during a meeting on preparation for heating season in Kamensk Dnipropetrovsk region.
