The court also decided to charge Pavlensky damages in a civil lawsuit filed by military unit 55002 (FSB of Russia), in the amount of 481 thousand 461 of the ruble 83 kopecks. In this amount, the FSB has estimated the material damage from the arson of the doors.

The defense asked the court to dismiss the lawsuit, pointing out that the FSB did not provide evidence that the damage was exactly the same amount.

We will remind, on the night of 9 November, Pavlensky came to the FSB building on Lubyanka square in Moscow, doused the front door from the canister, then put his lighter and burned, after which he was detained and arrested. During the trial, he demanded to prosecute him under article “Terrorism” in solidarity with the filmmaker Oleg Sentsov, convicted under the same article. During the investigation, Pavlensky was appointed psychiatric examination.

This is not the first Pavlensky the arrest by Russian authorities for the outrageous actions and performances.
