Foreign Ministry asks Ukrainians to contact the hotline of the Embassy in Israel because of the fires in Haifa

In Israel because of the fires evacuated the 12 districts of Haifa, November 24, 2016

The Ministry of foreign Affairs (MFA) asks Ukrainians to contact the hotline of the Embassy in Israel due to large-scale fires in Haifa. About it reports a press-Department service.

The municipality of Haifa also has released information that indicates that the reception centres were evacuated from areas affected by fire: Tsahal street 16, street Lavon 5; Beit Yad Lebanim, street Hayarkon 48; sports complex Dinor, street of wedges 20; supplementary reception centre opened in the youth center in Nesher in the street Ha-Shita 19.

Also provided phones for the evacuation of elderly and disabled (04-8353025), for volunteers and individuals willing to provide temporary housing (1-700-507-002) to citizens whose homes were burned (053-7548972), call centre of the municipality of Haifa (106 or 04-8356860).

“In case of emergency in connection with the fire, the citizens of Ukraine should contact the hotline of the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel: + 972 54 667 67 82 the e-mail address [email protected] or the “hotline” MFA of Ukraine: +38 044 238 16 57 the e-mail address [email protected]” – said the Agency.

We will remind, in the Israeli city of Haifa because of the massive fire were evacuated residents of 12 neighborhoods.

The Ministry of environment has urged residents of Haifa not to leave their homes due to severe pollution. The mayor of Haifa has asked residents not to come to the affected areas and to give firefighters to safely do their job.

The police believe that some of the fires that engulfed the center and North of the country, was the result of deliberate burning, perhaps on nationalist grounds.
