The detained former MP Oleksandr Shepelev, for unknown reasons, transferred from the detention facility of the SBU in Kyiv remand prison.

Former MP Alexander Shepeleva suspected of committing a number of crimes Friday, December 21, for unknown reasons, was transferred from the detention center of the security Service of Ukraine in the Kiev temporary detention center. This was stated by his lawyer Denis Anikin, reports UNN.

“Today, for unknown reasons, Shepeleva transferred from the detention facility of the SBU in Kyiv temporary detention facility,” said the defender.

In particular, Anikin said that he arrived at Askold lane, where the SBU, to his client, but it turned out that it is no longer there. Soon the lawyer was able to learn that Shepelev was transferred to the Kiev temporary detention center.

“As it turned out, it (Shepeleva – ed.) was brought to the detention center. There he became ill, called an ambulance. In the detention center did not accept him and his things, TVs, heaters and others taken to the court. He was on the court with packages. It is not hospitalitynet, although, according to the protocols the Ministry of health, had to be hospitalized. The court does not respond. And it brought in IVS, where it is impossible in any way to provide medical assistance,” he said.

The lawyer also said that on December 22 at 9:00 am in Kiev Pechersk district court will consider the prosecution’s request on the extension of detention Shepeleva.

Earlier, the court extended the detention for another two months former MP Oleksandr Shepelev, in respect of which investigated a number of criminal proceedings.

Recall, the former people’s Deputy of Ukraine (V and VI convocations) Oleksandr Shepelev is a suspect in three felonies: treason, murder for hire and embezzlement.
