Former MP Svyatash declared wanted

The ex-MP accused of committing crimes that fall under the heading of misappropriation of another’s property through abuse of trust.

Ex-Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Sviatash announced in the wanted list, reports the website of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Information about the search Svyatash the case, the defendant NABOO, is placed in the section “Persons hiding from authorities” with a note about the date of his disappearance on 8 November 2019.

It is noted that Svyatash was charged under part 1 of article 366-1 of the criminal code, the measure of restraint had been used against him.

In early October, the Kyiv Prosecutor’s office announced suspected former MP from the Party of regions and the “Party “the Renaissance” Dmitry Svyatash in the seizure of 1.1 billion hryvnia funds “Uksibbank”.

The former MP also charged with committing crimes (misappropriation of another’s property by abuse of trust (fraud) committed on preliminary arrangement by group of persons in especially large sizes)under part 4 of article 190 (forgery of an official document with the aim of using them as a forger and other persons, on preliminary arrangement by group of persons) of part 3 of article 27, part 3, article 358.

Before that, the former Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, the co-owner of Ferrexpo Konstantin Zhevago announced a national search.

In September, former MPs Oleksandr Vilkul and Dmitry Kolesnikov declared wanted.
