The former world champion in four weight categories Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez (56-7-1, 40 KO’s) has decided to end his professional career, according to Boxing Scene.
Marquez started Boxing in 1993, losing in the first battle. The last time a Mexican went to the ring in may 2014, when a unanimous decision victory over Mike Alvarado. 43-year-old boxer was planning to once again enter the ring before the end of this year, but for various reasons the date of the match was constantly postponed.
Most popular Marques have got through four fights with Manny Pacquiao, the latter of which he harshly knocked out Pacquiao.
