Sebastian Vettel at the end I spoiled the race, Hamilton.

The leader of the championship of Formula 1 Lewis Hamilton won the Japanese Grand Prix, winning the 9th race of the season and the 71st in his career.

For the British the race was very quiet, as the whole weekend. He was fastest in all three practices, won the qualification and was in the lead from the first to the last lap.

It was interesting behind him. Sebastian Vettel started the 8th on the first lap I passed three opponents, and at the end of two laps was the fourth.

Then on the track appeared safety car, because at the start after contact with Magnussen and LeClair left a lot of debris.

After the safety car Vettel launched an attack on Verstappen, between them there was contact and SEB went off the track. The marshals admitted the incident racing, Max remained third, while Vettel fell back to 19th place.

While both Mercedes went into the lead, Vettel has tried to break higher and eventually reached the expected sixth place.

At the end of the race a little trouble with the tempo came to Bottas, who was overtaken by Verstappen, but never could find the time to attack. When Hamilton said about valtteri Bottas, he accelerated, showed the best round and was ready to celebrate the “Grand slam” (pole, win and fastest lap), but in the end the fastest lap Vettel drove, a little spoiling Lewis holiday.

But as overall, Hamilton scored 25 points, while Vettel is only +8 points for sixth place. Stayed four stages and the fight for the championship already slim.
