Montenegro, Albania, Norway and Ukraine imposed new sanctions for the conduct of elections in Crimea.

Ukraine, Albania, Montenegro and Norway joined the EU sanctions against Russia for elections in the annexed Crimea.

This is stated in the message of the EU high representative for the common foreign and security policy Federica Mogherini, published on the website of the Council of the European Union on Tuesday, June 12.

“The candidate countries Montenegro and Albania, member of the European free trade Association Norway, member of the European economic area, and Ukraine acceded to the Declaration,” the message reads.

In Brussels, welcomed the decision of the four countries.
