Ukraine and France signed a contract for the supply of 55 helicopters

The contract for the supply of helicopters Airbus Helicopters for aviation security and protection of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine signed on July 14 in Kiev.

Ukraine and France signed an agreement to supply 55 helicopters Airbus Helicopters. The agreement was signed on Saturday, July 14, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The broadcast led TV direct.

From Ukraine the document was signed by General Director of state enterprise PBX Horeb-Avia Gennady Points, and on the French side the document was signed by the head of Airbus Helicopters Bruno even.

The official ceremony was also attended by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, head of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov and the Ambassador of France in Ukraine Isabelle Dumont.

As said Vladimir Groisman, the helicopters will get Natspolitsiya, National guard, border guards and the SSES.

“The national holiday of France signed an important agreement between the interior Ministry and the Corporation Airbus Helicopters on the supply of 55 helicopters for the needs of police, national guard, border guards and the SSES. The contract amount to 555 million euros. Part of the funding to provide French partners”, – said the Prime Minister.

Earlier the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov said that the first four Super Puma helicopters, Airbus Helicopters will arrive in the country until the end of 2018.

Also earlier it was reported that Chinese authorities in the framework of the intergovernmental agreement has provided Ukraine with 50 ambulances with the appropriate equipment.
