Three Ukrainian sailors have returned home

Three Ukrainian sailors have returned home after more than a year in a Greek prison.

In Ukraine on Thursday, November 8, returned three crew members of the vessel Mekong Spirit, which is in 2017, was detained by Greek authorities on suspicion of smuggling. About this on his page on the social network Twitter said the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin.

“Today three Ukrainian sailor from the ship Mekong Spirit, who was detained for more than a year ago in Greece, returned to Ukraine”, – said the Minister.

Earlier in Greece took custody of the Ukrainian sailor, who worked on the ship ERATO under the flag of Liberia.

Also in September in Greece, six citizens of Ukraine was convicted of the transportation of refugees.
