Russia has appointed artillery expertise to Ukrainian boats

The Russian secret service intends to find out the efficiency of the artillery on both boats.

The investigators of the FSB appointed a new examination of the case of the arrested Ukrainian sailors – to test the functionality of artillery MBAK Nikopol and MAC Berdyansk. On Friday, March 29, said the lawyer Nikolai Polozov in Facebook.

“The investigation, the FSB has appointed a new examination of the case of prisoners of war of Ukrainian sailors. Now the consequence intends to check the work of the artillery MBAK Nikopol and MAC Berdyansk”, – wrote the lawyer.

He said that the notification of the new examination was received during investigative actions in respect of prisoners of Ukrainian sailors Volodymyr Tereshchenko, Sergei Cibizova, Andrew Oprysko. Lawyers present said motions for the admission of the report of the office of the high Commissioner for human rights of the UN, in which captured seafarers are recognized as endowed with the status of prisoners of war.

According to Polozova, in the next two weeks with the regulations on the appointment of technical expertise will be disseminated to all 24 Ukrainian seafarers and their lawyers.

We will remind, on November 25, the Russian special forces had seized two Ukrainian boats of Berdyansk and Dnipropetrovsk and tug Jana’s tray on the way to the Kerch Strait. 24 Ukrainian sailors were arrested on charges of “illegal crossing of border of the Russian Federation”, three of them were injured.

All captured sailors told investigators that they are prisoners of war.
