Gas reserves in UGS of Ukraine has exceeded 13 billion cubic meters

Since the beginning of August UGS replenished on average 51,53 million cubic meters/day. The occupancy of underground vaults is 42%.

Ukraine after the completion of the heating season increased the natural gas reserves in its underground storages (UGS) 5 billion 613,47 million cubic meters this is evidenced by Ukrtransgaz on Monday, 6 August.

So, from 8 April to 4 August, stockpiles grew by 75.5% from 7 billion 435,16 million cubic meters to 13 billion from 48.63 million cubic meters.

Since the beginning of August UGS replenished on average 51,53 million cubic meters/day. The occupancy rate of UGS is 42%.

When saving in August and September the pace of injection into storage of 1.6 billion cubic meters of gas monthly, in October, the country will be with reserves of about 16 billion cubic meters.

Recall that in late July, the Cabinet approved the plan on preparation for the heating season. In underground storage facilities in October must be at least 17 billion cubic meters of gas.

Earlier it became known that Ukraine was behind schedule in the preparation for the heating period. Deputy Prime Minister Gennady Zubko stated that the next winter in Ukraine will be “difficult”.
