“Gazprom” has filed a complaint against the decision of economic Court of Kiev on antitrust fine

Russian “Gazprom” has filed an appeal against the decision of Economic court of Kiev on the return without consideration of the claim to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) regarding the imposition of a fine on the company. This was reported by “RIA Novosti” the press service of the court.

The court noted that the appeal dated 25 April, now materials are transferred to Kyiv economic court of appeal.

Earlier economic Court of Kiev returned without consideration the claim of “Gazprom” on appeal against the fine in the amount of 86 billion UAH. The reason for the refund was improper execution of the statement of claim, namely the failure of evidence of the authority of the person signing the claim.

Recall AMC 22 January 2016 imposed on “Gazprom” penalty in 85,966 billion UAH for abuse of monopoly position in transit through Ukraine. At the same time in “Gazprom” announced that AMC has no powers in the sphere of regulation of transit through Ukraine.
