Gazprom has predicted a historic record of exports

В Газпроме спрогнозировали исторический рекорд экспорта

For the first half of 2018, Gazprom supplied Europe 101,2 billion cubic meters of gas. This is 5.7% more than the record levels of last year.

The export of gas to Russia’s Gazprom in the CIS countries in the first half exceeded 100 billion cubic meters, and by the end of 2018 it can reach about 200 billion cubic meters.

This was stated at the annual shareholders meeting of Gazprom Board Chairman Alexei Miller, Interfax reported on Friday, June 29.

“The first results in 2018 show that growth of deliveries of Gazprom in European CIS countries continued. According to preliminary data, during the first half of 2018, we put on the market 101,2 billion cubic meters of gas. This is 5.7%, or 5.5 billion cubic meters higher than in the same period of record 2017,” he said.

Miller noted that the preservation of trends in exports to non-CIS countries in 2018 may reach new historic record of about 200 billion cubic meters.

Note that in 2017, Gazprom exported 194,4 billion cubic meters of gas.

Earlier, the head of Rosneft, Igor Sechin, warned of a possible price “superloop” on hydrocarbons because of the sanctions. In his opinion, because of the sanctions in the near term may be new price records in the oil and gas.
