Russian Gazprom has revealed the extent of liquidation and conservation of the gas transportation facilities, which it is not needed due to double reduction of the capacity of the Turkish stream gas pipeline – 63 billion to 31.5 billion cubic meters per year. On Monday, March 19, Interfax reported with reference to materials of concern.

Thus, the liquidation shall be 506 km of the linear part of the Eastern route (Pochinki-Anapa) South corridor and gas station Morshansk. Liquidated pipes are laid in the Krasnodar territory, the Saratov, Volgograd and Rostov regions. Will be conserved third and fourth stage of the compressor stations Russian, Cossack, Korenovskiy.

“Elimination of CIP volumes on sections of the linear part of the Eastern corridor with a view to the further implementation suitable for use MTP. The conservation of the sites of NZS until a decision on the implementation of these objects in full”, – stated in the materials.

We will remind, Gazprom has not yet received permission to build the ground part of the second leg of the pipeline Turkish stream Turkish authorities.

Earlier it was know that Gazprom has put almost half of Turkish stream – a total of 884 kilometres in total two threads, which is about 48% of the offshore section of the pipeline.
