The net profit of the parent company PJSC Gazprom according to Russian standards in 2017 fell more than four times – up to 100,297 billion with 411,425 billion in 2016.
It is reported by Interfax with reference to the operational data of the gas monopoly Monday, April 2.
“Thus, the profit of the parent company fell to its lowest level in the last 15 years. The last time less than 100 billion rubles, the society earned in 2002 (53 billion). In published statements the company followed the marketing techniques and keep the net profit in the three-digit figure, but its minimum value”, – stated in the message.
It is noted that the revenue of PJSC has increased by 9.6% to 4,313 billion rubles, and gross profit – just by 3.36%, to 1,766 trillion rubles.
Earlier, Gazprom stated that the accounts for the year 2017 will contain a provision for payments of $2.6 billion to Naftogaz by the decision of the Stockholm arbitration.
It is also known that the total debt of Gazprom to Ukraine is $8.5 billion, the Ukrainian authorities intend to forcibly collect debts with Gazprom.
