GDP in Ukraine grew over the year by 2.5%

The state statistics service said GDP growth

In October-December of 2017, real gross domestic product increased by 2.2% compared to the same period in 2016. Although earlier we were talking about a 1.8% growth.

Last year, real gross domestic product increased by 2.5% compared with the year 2016 (in constant prices 2010) 982,920 to 2 billion UAH (actual prices). This was reported on the official website of the State statistics service.

According to specified data of state statistics service, in October-December of 2017, real gross domestic product increased by 2.2% compared to the same period of 2016 to 894,022 billion (in current prices).

Compared to the 3rd quarter of 2017 taking into account the seasonal factor, GDP increased by 0.5% (excluding the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol).

GDP for the first quarter of 2017 increased by 2.8% to 591,008 billion for the second quarter of 2017 increased by 2.6% to 664,760 billion, for the third quarter of 2017 increased by 2.4% to 833,130 billion.

We will remind, the Cabinet believes that in the next 3-4 years Ukraine will be able to reach the level of GDP in 2013.

Also recall that in the fourth quarter of 2017, the growth in real gross domestic product of Ukraine in comparison with similar quarter of 2016 1.8% compared with 2.1% in the third.
