Germany for the first 9 months of 2017, invested in Ukraine $1.8 bn

Bilateral trade between Ukraine and Germany for the first 9 months of 2017 increased by 27% compared to the same period in 2016, and the total turnover amounted to nearly $6.6 billion

Germany, as of October 1, 2017, invested in the Ukrainian economy $1.8 billion, of which $1.1 billion is investment in industry. On Wednesday, January 24, reported the Ministry of economic development and trade (MEDT) on his page on the social network Facebook.

It is noted that the most popular destination for German investment in Ukraine is the production of auto parts and components, which have already been created about 3,000 jobs, and only last year they became even more in 2000.

Bilateral trade between Ukraine and Germany for the first 9 months of 2017 increased by 27% compared to the same period in 2016, and the total turnover amounted to almost $6.6 billion of Ukrainian exports to Germany grew by 23.1% to $1.6 billion.

The most popular export goods are electrical machinery, seeds and fruits of oil plants, ore, wood and metal products.

 

 

We will remind, earlier it was reported that the financial support of Germany to Ukraine in 2014-2016 totaled more than 800 million euros.
