In 2019 on the humanitarian projects of the ICRC in Ukraine, the German government will provide € 4 million and an additional 1.8 million euros.

The German Federal government will provide financial support to humanitarian projects of the International Committee of the red cross in Ukraine in 2019 in the amount of 5.8 million euros. On Monday, March 25, the press service of the Embassy of Germany in Ukraine.

Provided that in 2019 on the humanitarian projects of the ICRC in Ukraine, the German government provides 4 million euros and it is planned to allocate 1.8 million euros.

Thus, the total funding for Germany projects and activities of the ICRC in Ukraine in 2016-2019 exceeds 30 million euros.

“This assistance is aimed at people suffering from the conflict on both sides of the line of contact in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, and among them internally displaced persons and families in cities and villages that took them”, – stated in the message.

Earlier it became known that Canada gives money to fight misinformation during the elections in Ukraine. The funds will be allocated for both the presidential and parliamentary elections.

It was also reported that the European Union will allocate 1 million 53 thousand euros for the restoration of astronomical-meteorological Observatory on PIP Ivan mountain (Montenegrin mountains, Carpathians).
