Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman hopes that the Verkhovna Rada will consider the draft state budget for 2017 in the second reading at the next plenary week. He declared it during communication with journalists during his visit to the state enterprise “Antonov”.

“We sent the budget to Parliament to prepare for a vote on second reading, the budget carefully prepared, this budget is honest. I hope at the next plenary weeks to consider this question, I hope that the Parliament konsolidiruyutsya,” he said.

We will note, earlier the Committee recommended the Parliament to consider the budget in 2017 after the adoption of the budget laws of the Cabinet.

As reported, on 3 November, the Cabinet sent to the Parliament a revised draft law on state budget of Ukraine for 2017. During the revision of the document taking into account the proposals of people’s deputies, the government increased its expenditures and revenues to 15.13 billion UAH, or about 2%. Also, the Cabinet laid in the draft budget 2017 raising the minimum wage from January 1 to 3200 UAH.
